Refund Policy
Last updated: [date]. Draft for lawyer and CA review. Open points are in [brackets].
Hexi is free from 24 November 2026. Season Passes go on sale on 15 December 2026. This page explains when you can get your money back.
The short version
- Changed your mind? Full refund within [7 days] of buying, no questions asked.
- Charged twice, or charged but didn’t get your pass? Full refund, any time.
- If we let you down (long outage, or we stop offering your pass), you get back the unused part.
- Passes don’t renew automatically, so there’s nothing to cancel.
7-day refund
If you’re not happy, email us within [7 days] of buying and we’ll refund the full price. You don’t need to give a reason.
- One 7-day refund per student. [Lawyer to confirm this limit is fair.]
- After 7 days, we don’t refund just because you changed your mind or stopped using Hexi, except in the cases below.
Always refunded
We’ll always refund in full if:
- you were charged more than once for the same pass;
- your payment went through but your pass never started and we can’t fix it within [2 working days];
- you were charged the wrong amount.
When we let you down
We’ll refund the unused part of your pass (worked out by days left) if:
- Hexi is unavailable for more than [7 days in a row] during your pass;
- we stop offering the subject or content your pass was for before it ends;
- we close your account without a good reason, or shut Hexi down.
How to ask for a refund
Email hello@hexistudy.com with:
- the email address you paid with, and
- your receipt number or payment date.
If a parent paid for a student, the parent should write to us. We’ll reply within [2 working days] and give you a reference number.
How long it takes
- We start the refund within [5 working days] of agreeing it.
- The money goes back to the card, UPI or bank account you paid with. Banks usually take 5 to 10 working days to show it, sometimes longer.
- Your pass ends when the refund is made.
Currency and bank fees
- We refund in the currency you paid (INR or USD) and the same amount you paid us.
- If your bank converted the currency, the amount you get back in your own currency may differ slightly because exchange rates change. We can’t control this or your bank’s fees.
- [CA to confirm: how GST is reversed on refunds, and whether any part is non-refundable.]
